 A paragraph about how you think you will use data collection tools (e.g., Qualtrics for survey) as a teacher. Be specific about your subject matter area and the grade level. If you are not pursuing a teacher career, describe the context in which you may use data collection tools in your future career.

  • Data collection tools are very useful regardless what profession you are in, in my opinion. In my current job we use them all the time to see what our target demographic is for our marketing strategies to help adapt our plans. In teaching it helps for scoring and seeing how others are doing, this gives you a benchmark to work towards. I even use data collection tools to help me create posts for my jobs social media page, Instagram has an algorithm that helps you see which posts are succeeding in the most and this is very beneficial to me.

                Hello everyone, my name is Kristina Puig. I am a 3rd year student at FSU currently pursuing a degree in History with a minor in Education. I enjoy baking, cooking, fish-keeping, and playing many different types of video games. My favorite animals are cats (you can see my cat in a picture below) and fun fact they are not all that different genetically from tigers!               Technology has been around in my classroom for a long time, I went from very simple AR computers to full blown laptops throughout my education. I have used many different programs such as all of the office programs and their google counterparts. Technology has been a big part of the classroom whether it was for writing papers, taking tests, or even just researching different sources.   A paragraph about your experience using MS Word as a student (both in K-12 and at FSU). Do you prefer another word processing software (e.g., Google Docs or Pages)? If so, why do you prefer to use this word processing software? Microsoft Word has been a big part of my time as a student, I have been using MS Word since middle school and it has been very helpful. However, in highschool i started to use Google Docs and in my opinion this program is much better in both functionality and shareability. Google docs can be used on almost any device and can be updated from anywhere with real time updates without any extra steps. This program also makes it much easier to share a document with group members or teachers (you can even convert it into a MS Word document).
